Join The Held Space & The Goddess Temple Brisbane for a hands-on, guided experience where you’ll create your own cleansing/smudge stick using Australian native botanicals ~ a conscious and locally-sourced alternative to plants like sage and palo santo.

Smoke cleansing has become widely popular, but many traditional materials (like white sage and palo santo) are being overharvested with this growing demand. This workshop is a beautiful opportunity for wellness practitioners ~ or the curiously creatives ~ to learn to make a cleansing/smudge stick using materials right in our backyards. 

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

~ Work with locally abundant plants like eucalyptus and tea tree
~ Understand the practical and energetic properties of these botanicals
~ Learn the correspondences to each of the native pieces you add to your sticks
~ Create a cleansing ritual you can use in your own home

Leave with something you made yourself ~ and a practice you can return to.
